#spiREUTS

What is spiREUTS, you ask? Our fantastic Twitter followers dubbed the creation of writer/REUTS related cocktails as spiREUTS, an insanely clever play on the REUTS name and “spirits”. Birthed from this moniker, REUTS author Drew Hayes took it upon himself to create four author inspired cocktails (which he had the unfortunate task of tasting along the way).

For your viewing and tasting pleasure, we’d like to feature those four cocktails so you, too, can take your taste buds on the magical journey of creating (and slaving) over a manuscript. You NaNoWriMo participants know what I’m talking about.

If you’ve been following along on Twitter, you may also see the #WDES hashtag floating around, otherwise known as Write Drunk, Edit Sober. We’re making it too easy for you guys 😉

Want to join the fun? Have you created a writer/REUTS inspired drink you’d like us to feature? Comment, tweet (with hashtag #spiREUTS) or email () your concoction (and image, if you were daring enough to try it yourself), and we’ll give you a nice little shout out!

Drink, drink and be merry!

Ashley "A.M." Ruggirello is an INFP author with glorious purple and gray hair, who currently lives in Beer and Cheese Land, Wisconsin with her husband, dog, and cat. When not lost in the fictional world of Skyrim (The Elder Scrolls; PSN: supersmaaashley), she can be found exploring design patterns and typography combinations, manipulating (hacking) website code, or with pen & paper in hand, writing her many YA and Adult novels (see below). She considers herself a designer by nature, a writer at heart, and always wanted to make video game walk-throughs as a child. (She still does. Things don't change that much.) Ashley’s favorite color is chartreuse, and she has an undeniable attraction to moss (not of the Kate variety). Ashley is represented by Mandy Hubbard of Emerald City Literary Agency.
