#MarketingMonday: The Not-Com Revolution at REUTS

web-address

The internet is evolving.

As you’ve seen, REUTS is evolving.

Time to mesh the two together. We have added an interesting new trend in web design to our arsenal, participating in the Not-Com Revolution. Now you can get to the REUTS website by typing in www.REUTS.pub (the “www” is optional, as always). Pretty neat, huh? But rest assured, you can (and always will) be able to find us via the domain name www.REUTS.com.

To the extent of our knowledge and research it would seem REUTS is the first publisher on-board the Not-Com Revolution, and we don’t think it could be more perfect. If you follow us on Twitter, our handle is @REUTSpub, and now our website matches as if they were two peas in a pod. We’re super excited about this step forward in the realm of web design, and technology in general.

What are your thoughts on the Not-Com Revolution? Do you prefer domain names that describe the site a step further with the DOT-Name declaration? Or, in your eyes, will .COM always be far superior? We hope this makes your visit to our website easier (and maybe even a bit more fun). Let us know what you think in the comments or on Twitter!

Ash

Ashley "A.M." Ruggirello is an INFP author with glorious purple and gray hair, who currently lives in Beer and Cheese Land, Wisconsin with her husband, dog, and cat. When not lost in the fictional world of Skyrim (The Elder Scrolls; PSN: supersmaaashley), she can be found exploring design patterns and typography combinations, manipulating (hacking) website code, or with pen & paper in hand, writing her many YA and Adult novels (see below). She considers herself a designer by nature, a writer at heart, and always wanted to make video game walk-throughs as a child. (She still does. Things don't change that much.) Ashley’s favorite color is chartreuse, and she has an undeniable attraction to moss (not of the Kate variety). Ashley is represented by Mandy Hubbard of Emerald City Literary Agency.
